Songs from the Second Floor is a collection of the ephemeral performances that occur live on the air on 88.1 WYCE. This video series is produced by GRTV in collaboration with WYCE and The Rapidian in order to capture and archive these moments.

Amanda Shires, before a show at the Tip Top, shared this song with MikeontheMic live in the booth on WYCE (88.1fm).  Shires, a fan of Cohen, wrote the song for him on his birthday. As of now she has not met him or played the song for him (yet).

The Rapidian, a program of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Community Media Center, relies on the community’s support to help cover the cost of training reporters and publishing content.
