A public hearing is set for September 12 at 2:50 p.m. to discuss a request of the Grand Rapids Art Museum for special land use approval. This space is proposed, according to the hearing agenda, to be "open for concession sales as a use secondary to the museum."

On Thursday, the City of Grand Rapids Planning Commission will be meeting to discuss the space at 101 Monroe Center next to the GRAM. Areas of discussion will include a site plan review, temporary usage/concession sales and special land use.

Citizens are encouraged to attend and voice their thoughts with the Planning Commission at the public hearing at the Development Center Home at 1120 Monroe Avenue NW on the second floor hearing room.
