Grand Rapids, MI – On Thursday, May 26 from 6:00-7:00pm, Grand Rapids Wellness will host the next class in their series - Keeping GR Well: Free Wellness Classes. This month, Dr. Doug deVries, Chiropractor, and Kristin Swann, Acupuncturist, will teach you about Eating for Health vs. Dieting. In this class, participants will learn: • To recognize cues of improper diet, and how to shift to foods that are more agreeable to your body. • Strategies to improve digestion, which aids in stabilizing weight. • Benefits of a Mediterranean diet. • Pearls of wisdom from Chinese medicine in regards to food/drink. This is a FREE, all-ages class; you do not need to register ahead of time. The schedule of classes for the remainder of the year is as follows. All classes are held from 6:00-7:00pm: June 23 - Women's Health July - No class.
