It's a PERFECT SUMMER EVENING in Grand Rapids. Grab your friends & family and join Friends of GR Parks for a park improvement project and a free neighborhood bbq--featuring a deliciously fresh, nutritious menu--in one of our local city parks! This event will include a small park enhancement project or After Work Tree Time project, which will be followed by a neighborhood BBQ. All are welcome to attend, and there is no cost for participants. The goals are to promote park usage, increase neighborhood engagement in park and tree upkeep and to engage residents in providing input on desired park enhancement projects. The event will kick off at 5pm with a park project and food will be served from 6:30-8:00pm, so bring your smiles and appetites and come join us!
