Make connections, shop, learn at Black Market

The Black Market is a two day shopping, educational and networking event presented by LINC and the Grand Rapids Area Black Businesses.

On Saturday November 23, Grand Rapids Area Black Businesses (GRABB) will team up with LINC to present The Black Market.

The two day event begins on Friday from 5-8 p.m. and continues on Saturday from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the LINC gallery in the Madison Square neighborhood.

The Black Market is an event open to anyone interested in networking within or patronizing the African American business community. Plan to shop, mingle and enjoy entertainment, wine and hors d'oeuvres (Friday only).

  • Thomas "Tahj" Gillespie - Founder/CEO at Limited Edition Development Group
  • Brian Parks - President of BL²END

In August of 2012 Robinson founded GRABB. The group officially launched in July of 2013 to promote the viability of African American entrepreneurs and advocate for the success and sustainability of those businesses within the community.

The Rapidian, a program of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Community Media Center, relies on the community’s support to help cover the cost of training reporters and publishing content.
