Through Heaps of Snow: A Look at the Unexpected Spirituality of Winter

Tuesday, January 31, 2017

7-8:30pm

With Sr. Lucia Treanor, FSE, PhD

For many, winter is a time of postponed activity―for shoveling snow, navigating ice, and trying to keep warm. What can easily be forgotten in winter’s cold and dreariness is that it can also be a time of shoring up, of purity, praise, delight, and play.  As you enjoy hot chocolate (with marshmallows of course!) Sr. Lucia will use poetry, stories, and personal insight to explore this time of thoughtfulness and unexpected hope that can bring warmth to the human soul.  CFD:  Evangelization ($10.00 donation suggested)

This program will be live streamed at catholicinformationcenter.org

Event Type: Lectures
