“Healthy U” Lecture: Therapy 101

Area senior adults and their families can learn about the different forms of therapy – physical, occupational, speech – during “Therapy 101,” a “Healthy U” lecture scheduled for Monday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m., at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes. The faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community is located at 2510 Lake Michigan Dr. N.W. in Grand Rapids. 

 

Experts from Covenant Village’s own therapy department will highlight the different forms of therapy, explain when and why each might be recommended, and offer suggestions on where to find licensed healthcare professionals.
