Call for Performers at the Market!

Take the opportunity to celebrate creativity and community on June 11th during the Market presented by Avenue for the Arts. Arts vendors, musicians and local businesses will line the sidewalks of South Division between Oakes and Cherry from 4 – 9pm for an exciting evening of art in all forms! This is a great chance for Grand Rapids artists and community to support one another, as well as network and become involved.

The Market presented by Avenue for the Arts is a reoccurring event and will continue on the second Saturday of July, August and September. Market dates include June 11, July 9, August 13, and September 10.  

The Market attracts many unique and talented local artists who sell photos, sculptures, paintings, prints, T-shirts, handmade goods, and so much more. An eclectic mix of entertainment will be sprinkled throughout the streets – ranging from live bands and DJs to dancers and poets, along with a music stage located in Pekich Park.

We are excited about the opportunity to provide a diverse line-up of entertainment this summer in Pekich Park, located on the corner of Cherry and Division, as well as outside of store fronts and other areas along the avenue.  This is where you come in!
