In this episode of Catalyst Radio, The Rapidian is joined by Stacy Stout, assistant to the city manager of Grand Rapids and Neighborhood Summit planning lead, as well as Erica Soto, Kids Summit/ childcare coordinator of the Grand Rapids Neighborhood Summit. The Grand Rapids Neighborhood Summit will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Grand Valley State University’s Downtown Pew campus. The Summit’s goal is for stronger neighborhoods and a stronger city. This year’s theme is Going Beyond A Seat At The Table, speaking to the need for economic equity and opportunity in neighborhoods and for the need to leverage resident wisdom in decisions that impact them. Grand Rapids residents, neighborhood associations, business owners and associations, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend.

Catalyst Radio is the weekly public affairs radio program of Community Media Center. The program is a feature of WYCE and The Rapidian and includes interviews with organizations and people working on social change and community support.
