Join us for dinner and a movie, as we view and discuss inspirational films that illustrate how great faith can transform our own life and the lives of those around us. The movie will be shown from 2:30-4:30 pm, with dinner and discussion following the movie.
The Visitor is a deeply moving drama about a college professor and recent widower, Walter Vale who discovers a pair of homeless, illegal aliens living in his New York apartment. An unlikely friendship develops between the retiring, quiet Vale and the young Syrian musician, Tarek. Writer-director Thomas McCarthy has created a wonderful story about change and renewal.
