Join us for the 8TH ANNUAL CHIAROSCURO INTERNATIONAL FILM SERIES "Global Cities" right here in West Michigan!
An annual celebration of diversity and cultures, CHIAROSCURO presents a series of international films that are shown every other Sunday between January and March at the UICA in downtown Grand Rapids. Each show begins at 2:00PM.
Each international film has been carefully selected to represent this year's theme, "Global Cities", that relates to broad-based concepts of diversity around the world.
Each feature film is preceded by a local short film - directed and produced by students from local film programs - followed by an engaging conversation with experts from area colleges, universities and the community at large, and completed with a social hour with internationally-themed hors d’oeuvres!
Best of all, ALL CHIAROSCURO EVENTS ARE FREE OF CHARGE!
