French vocalist Cyrille Aimée grew up immersed in gypsy jazz. A finalist in the French version of American Idol, and a winner of the Montreux Jazz Festival, Aimée is known for her unique mix of gypsy jazz, infused with the bossa-nova/sambas of Brazilian jazz with a French twist. Jazz Times says, “It is impossible to not be charmed by French moppet Cyrille Aimée and her infectious joie de vivre.” A gypsy at heart, Aimée has a loyal fan base from France to the U.S. to Spain.
