A workshop offered for those who are preparing to become Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, as well as those already serving in this capacity.* Its purpose is to deepen the participants’ understanding and experience of the Eucharist as well as their special role in this ministry. Topics included: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion at Sunday Mass, bringing Holy Communion to those who are ill and/or homebound, prayer and ritual resources, terminology, use and care of sacred vessels, pyx, and tabernacle.
