In this video, Flying Without Wingz performs at Rock Out 2 Come Out, the first ever large Gay and Lesbian community event in Grand Rapids, held October 11th at Rosa Parks Circle, celebrating National Coming Out Day.

“We believe it is imperative to support groups such as the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community. All people deserve the right to feel proud and equal no matter what their orientation may be," Band Member Carissa Anderson stated when asked why they performed free of charge, for the event. "Flying Without Wingz is more than an electronic music group, it's a way of excelling beyond the norm and eliminating stigmas the world challenges us with. We were appreciative the opportunity to perform for the first Rock Out 2 Come Out in Grand Rapids and look forward to supporting future events held by the advocators of the Speak Equal organization."
