Join Chef Kathleen Schiefler on a journey of French food and explore some of the same classics that Lucy Knisley revealed in her escapades through Paris: Croque Monsieur, chocolate mousse, and cheese souffle. Chef Kathleen will also reveal the answers to some of your most pressing questions: What are haricots verts and how in the world do you say it? Cornichons—does size really matter? What's all the hype about foie gras and duck pate? What constitutes a really great croissant? Do French cows really make better cheese? Using her years of experience and training at the Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne in Burgundy and the French Pastry School in Chicago, Chef Kathleen will share her best French cooking tips. Class size is limited and registration is required. Register at www.grpl.org/register
