GR Man Hopes to Earn Fame and Ice Cream in Moose Tracks Contest

Wayland-based Denali Flavors, makers of Moose Tracks ice cream, is hosting a global contest on Facebook to name their newest Moose Tracks flavor, which contains chocolate ice cream, fudge, and chunks of peanut butter cookie dough.
Grand Rapids resident Rich Avery was one of more than 200 people to submit names. His entry, "Triple Treat" is a top-5 finalist in the contest, which runs on Facebook until August 27.
As a finalist, Avery won a month's supply of Moose Tracks ice cream, and some Moose Tracks swag. If his entry, "Triple Treat" wins the popularity contest, he wins a year's supply of Moose Tracks.
