With multiple albums having reached the Top Ten on the Folk DJ Charts, the classically trained women of Harpeth Rising combine original, gritty lyrics with folk, roots, bluegrass, and rock on violin, banjo, cello, foot-percussion, and powerful, three-part vocals. Touring internationally from their base in Nashville, TN, their previous performances include the Kerrville Folk Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, London Folk Festival, Blissfest, Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour, and The Bluebird. The Concert is presented by Grand River Folk Arts and general admission is $12. Admission is also $9 for GRFA members, $10 for students and seniors (student tickets are buy one, get one free), and $3 for children 12 and under.
