Improvisational Writing: A Workshop with Andy Molina
Sunday, November 20, 2016; 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Where do story ideas come from? What makes a good idea for a story? Are there processes and games for generating ideas and story scenarios? Playing off of the techniques of improv comedians, this workshop will give writers repeatable techniques for establishing basic story elements from more or less random prompts. You’ll learn numerous ways to get something going “out of nowhere” and never have to worry about writer’s block again!
$50/non-member, $40/member. Limited to 16 participants. If fewer than 7 people sign up, we will cancel the workshop and refund those who did register.
