The Midwest Ferret Fellowship Faire is scheduled to begin Saturday, September 14 at Rivertown Sports in Grandville. The show is sanctioned by the American Ferret Association, and will follow AFA show rules and standards. Judging will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the show opens to the public at 10:00 a.m.

"Judging should last until around 4 or 5," says Dee Gage, founder of the West Michigan Ferret Connection.

Proceeds from the show will go to benefit Gage's shelter, which is based in Grand Rapids. The MFF Faire will be the fourth AFA endorsed ferret show to occur in the midwest. Previous shows included the Ferret 500 in Indianapolis, Buckeye Bash in Columbus and the Greatest Ferret Show On Earth in Chicago.
