Brief Overview: No Outlet Improv Troupe (NOIT) will be performing every second Friday of the month at 8:00pm at Ambrosia Theater. The cost is $10, and each show is themed and riddled with ways to win prizes. The dates of this “Second Friday Summer Set,” are April 10, May 8, June 12, July 10, August 14, 2015.
Troupe Information: No Outlet Inprov Troupe (NOIT) is an improvisational acting troupe performing throughout West Michigan, based in the beautiful greater Grand Rapids area. Featuring classic games and new creations, every show is as unique as the nine members of the gang. NOIT hosts monthly shows and has regularly performed at The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, LaughFest, and The Lake Effect Fringe Festival. Together, they planned and hosted the first ever West Michigan Improv Festival in 2014 and are excited to bring it back in 2015. You can expect a variety of games, puzzles, scenes, and sketches all based on audience suggestion and participation. No Outlet is available for everything from entertainment to development. Whether it be a private or public performance, employment or youth workshops- NOIT has something to offer anyone and everyone looking to improve improvising in their lives.
Giving Back: The troupe is inspired by the giving nature of their fans, and have collaborated with them to bring resources to our Grand Rapids neighbors. Many times, you can catch a show for an exchange of canned foods, warm clothing, and other donations that better our community that we hold so near and dear (Shout out to the fans that have participated in our drives and fundraisers…you rock)!
