Pitch:

The Michigan Pediatric Hydrocephalus Foundation is hosting the first ever PHF Walk MI 2015 here in Grand Rapids.  Spend a fun, family day with us at Riverside Park on Saturday, August 15th to raise awareness and funds for hydrocephalus, or water on the brain. It is a brain condition that affects 1 in 500 births in the nation.  There is no cure, and the only treatment is to implant a shunt in the brain.

Our PHF Walk MI, starts at 10 am with registration, with the walk beginning at 11 am.  At noon the FREE fun begins! We will have carnival games, FREE music by Gained Access, Bake Sale, Silent Auction and don't forget to bring your own picnic lunch to have with other families as we meet other people supporting hydrocephalus awareness.

Funds raised in this walk will be used with the MI PHF end of the year donations to research projects for better treatments.  We have donated to U of M for the past two years.
