Photo Gallery: Asian-Pacific Week Festival

Grand Rapids Asian Pacific Festival Week concluded with the Asian Pacific Festival on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Rosa Parks Circle.

The second annual Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival 2018 showcased the rich cultures of Asia and the Pacific Islands. The numerous cultural demonstrations, performances, and vendors provided a fun and engaging time for the entire family.

Food vendors delighted and offered dishes from many Asian countries. There were opportunities to learn about the languages, arts, and traditional attires. There were also Lion dances, martial art demonstrations, a fashion show, traditional and modern performances – including Naruto singers from New York. There were many children’s activities including sidewalk drawings and paper dragon making.
