More information about hosting an artist

Tips and considerations for hosting an artist can be found here.

Artprize is once again helping with the facilitation of connecting out-of-town artists in need of housing with local hosts. Area residents are eligible to offer rent-free accomodations to help artists off set the cost of their participation in ArtPrize.

Artists come from all around the globe, with varying degrees of accomodation requests. ArtPrize has compiled a list of artists that will continue to grow as the event approaches. People interested in hosting can apply with ArtPrize to have their information added to the list as well. The deadline to sign up is tomorrow, September 3.

Once approved, Arprize will email participants with a spreadsheet listing artist information, accomodation requests and contacts. Hosts are encouraged to make direct contacts with artists to schedule and confirm arrangements and then to contact Artprize once a match has been made.
