Pope Francis will be visiting the United States in September. He will visit New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC. How does the average person get to see him? What are the rules for media coverage?Presented by Fr. John Geaney, CSP Cost $15.00/wine and cheese served. Pre-registration required.
Fr. Geaney was the Media Advance Person for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops during each of Pope John Paul II’s visits to the United States; he will use his experience to answer your questions about Papal trips, spin some insider yarns, and take you behind the scenes of what happens when a Pope travels to the United States. We will also be sampling a wine from Chateauneuf du Pape, a region named after the Popes who lived in Avignon, France in the 1400's. (Must be 21 years old and have a valid ID to sample the wine.)
