Each week the Volunteer Center will highlight an exciting skill-based volunteer (SBV) opportunity found on our Volunteer Solutions website. This week's SBV opportunity comes from Baxter Community Center:

Dentists, Dental Assistants and Hygienists Needed

If you are in the field of providing dental services, you are very well aware of the difficulty that low-income individuals have in meeting their dental health care needs. You can make a big difference by responding to our skill-based volunteer opportunity of the week. Volunteer positions are available for dentists, dental assistants and hygienists through Baxter Community Center, a United Way Partner Agency.

If you are a dentist, you can provide care on a rotating schedule throughout the year for Baxter clients. If you are a hygienist or dental assistant, you can plan now to assist in Baxter’s weekly dental clinic offered in September through June on Wednesdays & Fridays, 1-8 days per month.

Contact Baxter for more information through their posting on Volunteer Solutions.

Disclosure: The Volunteer Center works to connect volunteers, agencies, companies and organizations in the community. The opportunity featured above has been pulled from our Volunteer Solutions website.
