Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company will perform William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. The play follows the story of King Leontes of Sicilia, who suspects his wife Hermione of infidelity. Overcome by jealousy, he puts her on trial and orders that the couple's newborn baby be abandoned in the wilderness. An oracle proclaims that Hermione is innocent, and Leontes must spend years repenting his accusations. The journey the family undergoes to be reunited takes a comedic turn when the action travels to far away Bohemia and a mysterious shepherdess who is in love with a prince. The play's fairy-tale quality holds appeal for audience members of all ages.

Seating is general admission and low-back lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Bring a picnic meal and enjoy dinner and a show. Food trucks will be on hand. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
