We build community when we share our stories - whether they be a memory, an experience or just simply telling what we think is great about this place. While at various ArtPrize venues throughout the event, The Rapidian's Story Matters project asked several local citizens to share their stories. STORY MATTERS. is a story collecting project from The Rapidian and GRTV.

Delora Buford-Buchanan, artist and art educator, was last in Grand Rapids when she was 15 for a baton twirling convention. She's back now as an ArtPrize artist with her daughter, and is amazed at how the city has grown.
