Casey McGuire's installation, The Insatiable Feeling of Soft Ground, provides a personal narrative through the placement of objects, structures, and image within a particular space. Sculptures are informed by the connections that arise between her own body as an art object, and the situated experience of the viewer’s body in the space of the installation. McGuire's work will exhibit at UICA from April 2 to May 28, 2010.

Casey McGuire received her BFA from Alfred University and her MFA from University of Colorado.
