On October 8, 2010, over 300 people gathered in Rose Park's Circle for Heart of West Michigan United Way's Silent Dance Party.

For over an hour and a quarter, particpants danced to their own beat and had a great time. An impromptu dance-off was staged and a fire-breather appeared to liven things up even further.

The event was hosted by United Way's Next Gen group and aimed to spread the word about what United Way does in our community, and how everyone can be a part of it.
