About: Studying away from home has its disadvantages and its advantages. One disadvantage is that I don't know Grand Rapids as much as I'd like. This here is my effort to reconnect to the community that introduced to a curious but highly-sheltered child operas, art museums, and lively events. Besides writing, art, and getting involved in the community, I rather enjoy newfound niches to hide in, finding creative ways to live sustainably and healthily, yuca fries, Fado music, and some brutal honesty.
