Volunteer in Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This dispatch was added by one of our Nonprofit Neighbors. It does not represent the editorial voice of The Rapidian or Community Media Center.

Together we can fufill King's vision of a better America.

We are inviting families to come dismantle electronics for recycling, learn more about the hazards of e-waste, and explore the lasting impact of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

As a social enterprise, Comprenew strives to embody the mission of King by offering job-readiness training to people with barriers to employment, while also improving digital access among at-risk populations in our community. Please join us to celebrate his legacy.

Formally, the MLK Jr. Day of Service is on Monday, January 21st. To make this event more accessible, we are hosting two volunteer shifts on Saturday, January 19th.

Morning Shift: 9:30-12:00
Afternoon Shift: 1:00-3:30

Together we can fulfill King's vision of a better America.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
