Deep purple eggplants and plums, red, orange, and green hued tomatoes and peppers, sweet yellow corn and much more are filling the stalls right now! The beginning of September provides an abundance of variety amongst the in season produce grown in Michigan. Before we know it, grapes, gourds, and a wide selection of apples will be here too! Don’t miss the season's bounty while it’s here because it always seems to leave faster than we hope. So come out tomorrow and stock up! Wondering how to make all your peak season favorites last through the winter? Check out MSU Extensions FREE online courses to learn all about preserving Michigan’s wonderous and delicious crops.
