Underwriting support from:

You can help Friends of Grand Rapids Parks with their efforts to keep our local parks clean and beautiful at their August Park Clean-Up event. They are partnering with the Grand Rapids Public Library to promote volunteerism and community engagement as part of their annual Adult Reading Program.

Volunteers will be scraping and repainting the restroom building of the splash pad behind Alger Middle School.

This event is open to all. Volunteers can sign up in advance here to earn MyGR City Points, and then meet by the splash pad at the corner of Edna St and Blaine Ave SE by 10 a.m.

Keep track of future events on the Friends of Grand Rapids Parks Facebook fan page and website.
