This rousing ensemble from Karachi, Pakistan boasts direct lineage to the 13th century musicians and singers assembled by the legendary poet Amir Khusrau: the first practitioners of qawwali music. Rarely is religious music so electric, as chanted choruses, fervent hand claps, frenetic tabla rhythms, and woozy harmonium melodies, celebrate the divine in Punjabi, Farsi, Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu.
Qawal Najmuddin Saifuddin & Brothers have demonstrated great sense of commitment in learning Sufi poetic verses and vocal notes, and are performing since 1993.
They belong to the Chishti Sufi Order and carry on the spiritual sufi tradition of propagating the message of love, peace and humanity all over the world. They have been recorded by Pakistan Television and several private TV Channels, as well as by several Foreign TV & Radio Channels during their foreign tours. They have so far received various awards, medals & shields in Pakistan & abroad for their outstanding performances. Their Audio/Video Albums of Traditional Sufi Music/Qawali are receiving appreciation and applause from every segment of the listeners.
