We build community when we share our stories - whether they be a memory, an experience or just simply telling what we think is great about this place. While at various ArtPrize venues throughout the event, The Rapidian's Story Matters project asked several local citizens to share their stories. STORY MATTERS. is a story collecting project from The Rapidian and GRTV.

Aaron Bannasch has lived in Grand Rapids for seven years, and says he's seen it transform from a big town to a small city. He talks about what he thinks will happen here in the next ten years, and what he values about this now-small city that he calls home.
