Chia and Friends helping new mom provide for her baby

Suzie just found out she's pregnant. Even though she's working, she can barely make ends meet. How is she going to provide for her baby?
That's where Chia and Friends comes in. We are helping Suzie go back to school so she can get a better paying job. In order to do that, after she gets the social services she qualifies for, we raise a Dream team (financial support team ) and a life assistance team for the surprises that life sends her way.
Our mission is to keep single mom families out of poverty and homelessness by removing the barriers single moms encounter when trying to go back to school so they can get a better-than-mimium-wage job. Oftentimes they need to choose between paying for daycare or paying for food. It is not uncommon for single moms to make $500 a month!
With over 3000 single moms in Grand Rapids with only a high school diploma, we need your help! Help these women reach their full potential and become financially independent. By Empowering Women we Impact the Next Generation!
Suzie will be able to complete most of her training before her baby arrives. We are looking for those interested in helping financially and through life assistance.
