The Moon, transdisciplinary creative space located at 323 Straight Ave. SW in Grand Rapids, will host another otherworldly event on the evening of July 2nd, where EVERYTHING GLOWS. Memphis-based band Spaceface returns to The Moon's infinity wall stage, with GR local band hi-ker leading the way. This night marks the kickoff of The Moon's EXTREMOPHILIA Tour, with KCAD Interdisciplinary Sculpture Professor Natalie G'NAT Wetzel unleashing her Glowworm personal (a fantastical creature from outer space) that will leave GR to travel the world on a collaborative project with collaborators including: The Moon's own photographer Mark Andrus, Los Angeles-based videographer Bokeh Monster, the Niels Bohr Institute in Denmark, San Francisco-based illustrator Lauren YS, UK based  performance artist Bex Ilsley, Los Angeles based clothing designer and Sunset BLVD Spacedust store owner Michelle Jupiter, Grand Rapids Public Museum Planetarium director Emily Hromi, and a host of many other creatives in a wide range of disciplines. The Moon has been receiving international recognition for its innovative art/science crossover collaborations, such as the spread in UK-based arts platform Tribe Magazine: Transdisciplinary Creative Arts Space, “The Moon,” Launches Kickstarter to Continue Funding Otherworldly Projects
