LANDMARKED
Mapping Journeys through Book Arts
From May 2 - June 13, the Calvin College Department of Art and Art History is proud to present "LANDMARKED: Mapping Journeys through Book Arts" at the (106) South Division Gallery. The exhibition brings together five artists whose works reinterpret the breadth of book arts and represent the many ways in which we map our surroundings.
"Landmarks" signify places or turning points with special value, and serve as guides or markers along a journey. The works of "LANDMARKED" explore our outlooks on both literal landscapes as well as personal geographies, revealing what we choose to highlight along the way.
The artists are: Lauren Abshire, Sara Bakker, Tracy Rose Guajardo, Ruth Ribeiro and Scott Rodger. Curated by Sara Bakker.
