Interested in the fulfilling field of health coaching? Paid training to lead High Blood Pressure Control (HBPC) workshops is available online in January 2024. During the paid training at $18 per hour, participants will learn to lead and become certified in both in-person and virtual HBPC workshops.

What is an HBPC workshop?

The interactive HBPC workshops involve working with a small group to explore skills and tools that help people with high blood pressure to improve the quality of their lives. Each week, the group discusses strategies to help people live healthier lives and set practical, achievable goals. Join this collaborative team to help others and make a difference in your community! December 18, 2023) — Interested in the fulfilling field of health coaching? Paid training to lead High Blood Pressure Control (HBPC) workshops is available online in January 2024. During the paid training at $18 per hour, participants will learn to lead and become certified in both in-person and virtual HBPC workshops. Provided by The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, the training consists of three days in January 2024:

HBP Control Leadership Training over Zoom

Tuesday, January 23, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Thursday, January 25, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Tuesday, January 30, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Participants must attend all three days in order to be certified and commit to leading at least one eight-week workshop each year. Two leaders are paid to facilitate each eight-week workshop. No health care or teaching experience is necessary.
