Join Reverend Dr. Julie Nemecek as she discusses what transgender is, the scientific research on the causes of transgender, the medical consensus on treatment for transgender people, and recent legal efforts on transgender civil rights, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Justice on transgender rights. Dr. Nemecek will share her personal journey and discuss what it means to be transgender in Michigan. A question and answer session will conclude the program.
